with how we use roads
provided some nuance to
the debate about road
Þnancing and the Þnancing of societal
costs associated with the use of roads
- two very different things.
The Þrst Þnding, that heavy trucks not
personal vehicles (of whatever size
and regardless of how much they are
used) damage roads. Secondly, larger

more harm to others than do smaller
& lighter vehicles, when they are
involved in an accident.
